I am looking at some WBT 730 binding posts.
They are made of copper alloy. My concern is that brass is a copper alloy....
Has anybody used these, and are they any good?

I need speaker binding posts that fir the 19mm between centre standard, as my case has been drilled to this.

Another option is https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/binding-posts/viborg-bp-604-g-binding-post-silver-gold-plated-24k-5-pure-copper-o45mm-set-x4-p-12771.html

Any thoughts on which is best to get, or a good alternative?

I'm very sure that CMC binding posts at HIFI collective are solid copper and much cheaper.

The CMC ones are listed as being "Brass" on some of them.
Ideally I want to buy in Europe, as I can see the French customs starting to play silly buggers with anything coming from the UK.
I have not found a source for CMC here yet.

They will need to be plated, so that O don't have to keep cleaning them, as once tarnished, they won't sound as good.

Thanks.
I have used Audiophonics quite a bit.
I trust them as a seller, but the question is, is the Chinese "pure copper", actually brass?
The WBT 730 are actually a copper alloy...

There is so much fake stuff around.

Look at these WBT RCA connectors - https://www.amazon.fr/ESden-WBT-0144-connecteurs-souder-plaqu%C3%A9s/dp/B07X5JP7HN/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=WBT&qid=1607200196&sr=8-9

Kevin, go for the Cardas - guaranteed solid copper (I use them on my amps), and they are superb. Available here from the EU:https://avcorp.pl/product-eng-3556-Cardas-CCBP-L.html

Well it seems that the WBT 730.11 are brass as well.

WBT-0730.11, Signature

With the same manufacturing design as the WBT-0730.01 (see below) but created using cold rolled 68% copper alloy. The connector is then plated with a single layer of 24k Gold to protect against oxidation. Finally, it is polished by hand to give an extreme finish.

these look like a better option again...they are even smaller form than the Viborg ones...which is better again for your 19mm clearence between your posts....and there's no mistaking what the material is looking at that picture...

Interesting reading - https://www.madisound.com/pdf/printcatalog/WBT.pdf

Brass is around 65 to 70% copper, so why do they say there is a difference between the 68% and brass connectors?

So, in pure copper we also have CMC (Charming Musical Connector) available from HiFi collective, but I could not find stock in the EU.
In the end I have gone for some Viborg. They seem like a serious HiFi company, and state they are pure copper.

Will they make any difference? I very much doubt it....
