I have 2 hifi racks that I'm no longer using. Thought I'd see if anyone here would be interested one or t'other.

I have one Target stand. It has 5 shelves and looks very much like this one>
http://www.depanorama.net/audio/target.gif
The dimensions are approx 51cm x 40cm x 85cm (WxDxH)

The internal width is 47cm, and the internal shelf height is 16cm. The shelves are black ash effect, and the top one is separately spiked.

The other rack is by Standesign. It has central columns on the sides rather than 4 corner posts, if you see what I mean, a little like the Sound Organisation racks. It has 4 shelves with 23cm between shelves rather than 16cm on the Target. All other dimensions are roughly the same as the Target. Black ash effect shelves on this one too.

It looks like this, but has 4 shelves, not 5 >

Buyer would need to collect.

Hmmm, thinking I might cut the target above the 2nd shelf.

Edit: has anyone ever cut a rack like this in half?

How much do you want for them?

Ideally, I'd like £50 for each.

The Standesign is this one I think:

I have some speaker stands too.

Edit: I have no idea of the going rate for these tbh.....

Ok,i think they would be ideal for me! At the moment,i'm using a single AV rack but have a subwoofer i want to put between the speakers with the rest of the equipment either side of the sub.I am interested in them but don't have the money or time to collect right now,so if they are available when i do,i'll make you an offer! Not sure what they are worth either!

Darren,

Any idea when that might be? Are we talking weeks, or months?

Weeks if anything but don't hold me to that! It's more the picking them up rather than the money which is the issue for me! I would need to get my brother to pick them up or borrow his work van!

I'd bite your hand off for the 5 shelf unit Lee... but I just don't have the ability to collect, unless some kind soul is travelling between Southampton and the Croydon area and they can collect/deliver it for me (with a donation towards petrol costs of course) ;)

Hi Stuart.

They are a pair of linn kans speaker stands, although there's no branding to speak of.

Thanks for that but not quite what I'm looking for. I need a pair for my NS1000s.

Ok, The S41's no good for them? They're 16" high.

The height is ok, but it's a stability thing...!
