Townshend speaker bars size 1..... 0.5 to 30Kg

For sale are my Townshend speaker bars , these are the smallest version and they extend from 264mm to 415mm though and can take speakers up to 30Kg.

These retail about £1000 new , I would take £500 delivered to your door. These are very robust , I don’t have the original box but they will be very well packaged and sent by overnight courier.

The base of the feet has a laminate plastic on metal disc, these have taken a few knocks , the worst one is pictured a couple of other feet have similar but smaller knocks. These do not effect the operation in any way.

The springs are adjustable on a screw thread so you can level if your floors are uneven.

These are a great product for speaker isolation , but I’ve bought heavier speakers so I’ve gone down a different path now.

Can you please check if these are Load B or Load C.

Looking back, I see that you brought some Townshend bars from mattgbell back in March 2019 that were Load B - are these the same ones? I’m after a set of Load C.

These are the same bars, they seem to be rated differently to the pods you can use under components as they are not marked that way.

They sell these in 2 different sizes and 2 different weight loadings. These are size 1 and load suitable for 0.5 to 30kg speakers. The stiffer sprung bars are good for 30 to 254kg speakers.

Or 28 to 254kg if you have the longer bars and the stiffer springs.


Thinking about it, They must be pretty close to a B I guess once you allow for the weight of the bars.
