Tips and Advice on arm change

I am going to be changing my tonearm tomorrow on my Sl1210 to a Jelco sa750D . I have watched a load of you tube videos but any tips and advice would be great .

Help please arm is all fitted and deck rebuilt I have had a Conrad Hoffman's program to generate an arc protractor, but there is a 10mm differance between the centre pivot point would any one have any ideas do I just extend the pivot line so I can the set up the cartridge ?
