As per title, looking for an older pair of AN-K speakers, decent condition or even a cab restoration project, preferably with shipping, but pickup might be an option depending on location.

I know a bit about Audionote Type AN/E:

https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/337609-audio-note-snell-speaker-crossover-question.html#post5784024

You'd have to join the forum to see the images. It's 4 ohm paper woofer with an LC filter. Tweeter is first order with an LCR to damp the Fs resonance. 8" and 1" SEAS drivers.

Nothing very unusual, but better than most.

This sort of thing is not unusual. I have some Monitor Audio R300-MD which are quite similar. Where I am going on this is I think you could scour the second-hand shops and find something similar. Old Missions are in this mold too. Both are easy enough to fix if any problems. Usually go for about £60. A Harbeth below to show what we are talking about.

Just post this while I think of it. Troels Gravesen had a good delve into an Audionote AN/E.

About a 1/3 of the way down the page:

Thank you for suggestions, but I'm after AN-K models, not looking for a full diy project, I could do some veneer work or retouching if cabinets are a bit tired, but thats as far as I'd like to go. AN-E's are definitely way too large.

You might consider snell k.
I think they have a fuller sound.
Always liked them.

I like the older AN K, slightly looser than the newer model but great fun...and that's from a newer AN K user!

Snell type K's are indeed an option, among living voice and shahinian arcs, I may consider them if everything else fails, but for now Im trying to find ANKs
