does anybody know what to check the volts across when adjust the bios trim ?

The 0.22 ohm resistors below the big power transistors.
Adjust for around 10 millivolts (0.01V) across the resistor. Don't overdo it or you'll let the smoke out :D

[Light Dependant Resistor]

Would be interesting to see effect of a common drain mosfet implementation, maybe using gate feedback -instead of plain resistance.
