I have an 845 integrated - I’m thinking of trying something completely different so may want to let it go

OH my word , exquisite my dream amp . But out of my budget I'm thinking at this time ?
Been looking at the 845 compact and drooling , this must be unbelievable ?
Could I pay monthly ? Lol

I just need to simplify my life - I think - maybe - it sounds fantastic but I have a sack of tubes most of them I haven’t even tried

May I ask what the wires from the top of the valves are for? Is it for earthing on those particular valves? I notice they're different from the valves in the image below it.

Not sure whether it’s earth but it is wired different to 6SN7 - adapters for 6F8G

Ahhh, I've got ya. Being recently new to valves, I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the quality and life they inject into music; looking at this amp makes me drool. :lol:
