Think we've just hit peak 2020.

Gonna rewatch "The Hill' tonight, followed by "Outland".
"Dying during the night in your sleep in the Bahamas" is possibly the best Obituary you could hope for.

RIP Sir, passed at 90.

''I heard you were dead.''

''I was, this is my second life. ''

''You only live twice Mr Bond.''

Great actor. Best film performance? 'The Hill.'

That is sad. Seems like I come home to bad news every day. Bobby Ball, Nobby Stiles, now Sean :( I think I will watch "The Untouchables", he was great in that.

Very sad news indeed, and I'll comment more later. However a HI-FI thread it is not... Could I ask everyone to please at least try and post topics in the right section, than lazily just dumping everything into Blank Canvas, in the hope that a mod will move it?

Ta! Discussion now moved to where it should've been posted in the first place.

Marco.

I liked his hard-as-nails beat cop character in "The Untouchables".

Yeah, that wasn't directed at you, mate, but rather the daftee OP. (of the thread you've just merged), who has a tendency, when posting new threads, of 'It'll just fire it into Blank Canvas, and fuck it'....:nono::ner:

;)

Crikey!

"Do you expect me to post all my topics in the correct sections?"

"No Mr. Gazjam, but I expect you to try!" (in a Goldfinger accent) :)

:lolsign:

Exactly, but he's not the only one guilty of such, and trust me, when you're continually moving threads from Blank Canvas, into where they should've been put instead, especially when it's patently obvious that the subject matter dictates so, after a while it does get rather wearing!;)

And it happens ALL the time, folks.... So, I decided to highlight the matter, in order to (hopefully) prevent it from recurring again in future:)

RIP Sean Connery - My personal all-time best Bond

Sad news indeed - I heard it on the radio this morning.

He was the best "007" by far, and was excellent in other films such as 'The Hill' and 'Hunt for Red October', as well as the Irish cop (with a distinctly Scots accent) in 'The Untouchables'.

From very humble beginnings he ended up doing very well for himself; donating to and setting up several charitable trusts in his beloved Scotland.

RIP Sean

Indeed. Can’t think of a better way to go.

He will always be remembered as “the” Bond.

"No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die!"

Goldfinger finally gets his way. Took a while, though:);)

I'm shaken, but not stirred. RIP Sean.
