Having now sold off the bulk of my record collection we’re down to the nitty gritty, putting the record playing hardware up for sale, I would prefer to sell everything to the same person as I can vouch for how well the package works together but I will split if required.
First the Rega Planar 3 (latest version) in gloss white, the turntable has been upgraded with a machined alloy sub platter from Fidelity Designs, I will let the buyer have the original Delrin item but I doubt they’ll want to use it. I’ve also changed the stock black drive belt for an Edwards Audio Little Belter Blue drive belt, when measured the fitment gave more accurate speed and lower W&F.
The P3 is fitted with an Audio Technica ATF7 LOMC, although it’s been fitted to the P3 for 2 years, use has been light and I’d estimate use at about 60-80 hours. To go with the P3 and IMO vital to get the best sound from it is the dedicated lightweight wall mount, also in white. The final thing I’m selling is the Cambridge CP2 MM/MC phono stage which compliments the ATF7 beautifully.
You will notice there is also a Q-Up tonearm lifter fitted, this can be removed easily if not required.
Full RRP of all I’ve listed comes in at just over £1100.
I’m looking for £700 + carriage for the lot but as I stated earlier I will negotiate splitting the various items. Anyone interested PM me.
