I currently have spotify running from my Sky Q box to my Beresford dac via a tosh lead does anyone know what bitrate the sky box puts out ?

It will do Dolby Digital which is 640 kbit/s so I'd guess it can manage Spotify Premium which is 320 kbit/s.
