I'm not having a lot of joy looking for a Croft Integrated, so thought I'd widen the search.

Spec is about 30W'ish, with a phono stage, perhaps something like an early AI500.

I listen to mainly Psych, EDM, Electonica and my speakers are 88dB, placed in a shoebox listening room.

Budget to about £1000 or so.

Ta.

Thanks John, but not at all sure I would want to drop over a £1000 on the back of that listing :/

I may have a S500 available in about a week or two, still deciding whether to keep it or not, be looking for around a £1000, it has been modded by David Coe. Its a close call between that or an Audio note soro.

Is it the early one, with Hinckley Transformers Mike ?

Does it have the in-built Phono ?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,
I was chatting with Mark at Ming Da UK this morning and he has a brand new Ming Da Picollo Mk 3 for sale at £1000 which is £200 off list. OK, you would need to get a phono stage to tide you over but the Picollo is a great amp, I've owned a couple in the past before I went back to solid state. Rated at 18 watts but it drove my 86db speakers in a 20 x14ft room to decent levels. Mark's a great guy to deal with.

Thanks very much for that Ian, but I'm now sorted.
