Pioneer PD-D9 SACD Player

Does anyone have any feedback regarding this SACD player...? I've heard that it is very polite and pleasant sounding which may well suit me.

It is a bit difficult to explain the sound of Pioneers but here's my opinion.They are not bright sounding,if that is what you're trying to avoid,EXTREMELY reliable machines but they are quite "uninvolving" and sometimes "matter-of-fact" sounding and a bit "dry".
