Hi,

I'm Hansen from Singapore.

I've only just started rebuilding a home audio system after my old sonys died years ago. Mostly get my music fix from portables and a good set of headphones as I hardly spent any time at home :lolsign:

My primary music collection is harddisk based, and I recently got myself a Dared MP-5 for better playback than tru my comp speakers.

What sort of music do you like?

I listen to a bit of everything depending on the mood.

I usually listen to classic hard rock, prog rock and glam metal from the 70s and 80s.

Occasionally I'll play some electronic stuff, funk & soul.

My current fetish of choice is symphonic metal & rock.

Hi Han, solo through the headphones (sorry, couldn't resist a little joke!) is fine, and I found when I started to use them more that you pick up so much more detail - I always find headphones demand your attention more than speakers. What headphones do you use?
