I recently posted a thread with a VDH The Orchid interconnect for sale. The thread has disappeared. I have contacted site admin to find out why but have not received a response. I had posted pics and described article for sale with price. Does anyone know what I may have done wrong or what other reason there might be for removal?

From what I can see, it was removed due to inadequate photos.

There was one postage stamp-sized image on the sales post which doesn’t comply with the rules.

Get some decent, large images of the cable together and re-post.

It's all clearly explained in the photo requirements for sales, which are staring in the face of anybody who visits the Private Exhibitions section to post an advert.

I replied on the thread and via PM, with links to the rules posts and an example advert.

As Walpurgis has said (and the other mods hundreds of times), the rules are clear for all to see and apply to every sales post.

Not sure what you mean by ‘own goal’ though. He hasn’t gone anywhere or stomped off in a mood, he simply said thanks and that he sold the item elsewhere - which is fine. Many people place adverts on multiple platforms for a single item.
