Hi Y'all
I am Andre, 53 years of age, socially disfunctional due to my narcistic hobby of listening to music on the sweet spot in front of my stereo and therefore unable to hear a conversation, on which people tend to shrug shoulders and leave.... just kidding
i have a lot of hifi equipment, so i will stick to brands that i am fond of.
i have pre/amplifiers of brand names like 3 x Quad, 1 x Chevin Research, 2 x Lab Gruppen, 2 x Parasound, 6 x Sansui, 2 x Yamaha

i have a record player from Technics accompanied with fidelity research FRT3 stepup and a Black Cube from Lehman Audio so i can connect to a line input on my Parasound preamp and a Ortofon MC 10 super which has been retipped with signature diamond.

I have DACs from the brand Metrum

I have speakers from the brands Tannoy, Beovox, Quad, B&W mostly vintage. speakers range from late 60s to somewhere 80s

CD players from Marantz, Sony and Rotel

Tannoy TX2 TXD1

i am very fond of the Tannoy Wildcat series and have 3 sets of Lynx a pair of Pumas and i am in the middle of creating some bass speakers with Leopard drivers and crossovers.

I recapped 3 Quad 303/33 sets for myself, and many more for a friend of mine.

i am also fond of the Yamaha P series like the P2100 P2200 and P2201. i own a P2100 and P2201 that i both recapped myself.

i also like electrostatic speakers and therefore have a set of ELS 63 which have new foil.

i buy stuff from anywhere in the world and sell to anywhere also. just a week ago a guy drove by my place from slenia to holland to pick up some Tannoy System 15 speakers. last week i also sent a Yamaha P7000s to france. i am not into the audio business, but i do buy and sell what i need or dont use anymore.

to give an example, i have refurbished speakers from Beovox, K serie, with tweeters from Italy, mids from the USA, and woofers from Swittzerland. My Ortofon element is from Australia, and i also sold stuff to someone in Germany who took it home to Austria.
I am currently here in this Forum not because of my social skills but because i found an amplifier that someone is selling and i want to get in touch with.
i am open to chats with likeminded people though...
NOT INTO POLITICS!!!

well that all Folks.. C YA!

Hi Andre. Welcome to AOS.

Looks like you have enough equipment to keep you busy for a while :).

If you want to correspond with a member regarding a purchase, you'll need to have made five posts before the PM (personal message) facility activates for you.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Welcome to AoS Andre,

You have an impressive collection of audio gear there and a fondness for Quad gear. ;) Quad gear is popular here too.

What are your tastes in music?

Enjoy the Forum
