In good working order, bar the fact that the display backlight doesn't work. Was recapped many years ago, used infrequently since then.

Sounds fabulous, it's the one with Dual Crystal DACs, as discussed here...

No remote (readily available on Ebay, am told some Naim zappers also operate it), casework as you see it, definitely less than mint (!) but not grossly offensive.

£60 collected (from Bedford) or add a tenner for postage in mainland UK.

I had one of these years ago, at the time i didn't get on with it, but then I was judging a CD player by what I thought was detail retrieval but was probably actually digital mush. I preferred budget Sony and Phillips CDPs at the time. Looking back it sounded more like the Marantz CD94 Mk2 I later owned (and loved) than the budget players I liked before. A great organic sounding CDP.

Incidentally mine had the same backlight issue and I replaced the bulbs with new ones of the same spec which sorted it.
