My favourite R2R - great transport wonderful tape handling and excellent sound quality with stock electronics.

How times have changed - mine cost me £450 (user requiring refurb and dead relapping) and £600 (EXC +++ forum small studio) a few years ago :)

Kicking myself as i could have had one of these Sony machines years ago for £500, but I was put off by some of the techs on Tapeheads.net who advised me against it ?????
