After many years in the loft i just brought down the Beresford TC 7510 dac.
I managed to find a power supply but notices that it gets very warm when plugged to the dac.
Can anybody advise me if I am using the right PS

Is it normal for the power supply to be hot ever with the dac turned off?

Provided it is DC, a 12v/1.7a PS should be ok. I wouldn't expect a power supply to a Beresford product to run very warm. I have owned a few Beresford products and have not noticed any of the power supplies running warm, let alone very warm. Perhaps the unit (PS) is defective.
