Technics 1210 MK5 Turntable fitted with Paul Hynes and Ian Mac Power Regulators, with Paul Hynes SR7 Power supply ( won't split so don't ask [emoji6] ), Isonoe Feet and Mk5 Tonearm and Technics Headshell. Standard platter, bearing and mat.

Buyer to collect or organise their own courier, I can pack it really well for transit but can't guarantee the cover so consider that a freebie and hope it survives.

£1175 plus postage.

Considering the PSU is around £1000 retail IF you can source one, I think the asking is a fair price.

Retail cost must be around £1800 +/- for this, and that’s not taking into account the labour for fitting the regulators and PSU [emoji6]

MikeyB,

I am checking if a friend needs this for you. I have the same SR7 in black on my deck with the Mike New platter, bearing and bearing plate.

I bet there's a few goodies in there Mike. :)

I bet there's a few goodies in there Mike. :)Not much, I tend to get rid if not using, mind you my recently bought Denon PMA 850 is away for a service and a Sansui AU2200 is in there, that needs serviced too, only bought it for sentimental reasons as it was the first amp I ever owned save I was curious to hear one again. Pity it's not working 100% [emoji3525]

The Denon might be going into the main system to make it all 75-81 vintage. Then I'll have the pre amp and power to either mothball or sell.

So I don't really have much in the cupboard at all apart from cables, screws and valves [emoji23]

Edit: I forgot I still own some of my system from the cd era, Rotel RA921 amp and Marantz CD52 SE and there's also pair of Tannoy M1s that I bought for my daughter's system and now they're back with me and Denon TU260? tuner.

No point stripping it and being left with bits , needs to ALL go

If you're considering splitting then I'm currently looking for a 1210/00, just a stock one though, if you ever think of putting it back to original.

It's doable but only with a bit of hassle, I'd need to remove the PSU, the regulators and return the main PSU back to standard, which is why I originally said I wouldn't split, however it could be done, just need to organise someone to do it for me ( for free [emoji6][emoji23])

Ianmac did the work originally and he said he'd return it to standard no problem but he's a 4 hour return journey away [emoji3525]

I'll have a look at the guide I used to do the work and I'll see if it's easy enough for me to do as I have all the parts that were removed.

Oh ok, I'd like the work done professionally really, looking for a stock one I guess, no worries.

Just my 2p worth again ,
My first 1200 ( Boy was I chuffed ) this was a while ago now
I had a problem with hum
With the arm in the arm rest the unit was silent
As I moved the arm towards the centre spindle ( and internal power supply ) I would get hum , The nearer the spindle the louder it got
Had a external power supply fitted , Result , Total silence
A dedecated powers supply also give a cleaner more stable power into the unit

As said The power supply on this deck is top of the range and super exspencive

Someone should grab this as it is a bargain :eyebrows:

Any interest in the PSU and Regulators on their own?

I can split the PSU and Regulators from the deck so if anyone wants that, the price will be £650 posted, retail on those is around £1100.
