Basics:
Name: Danny
Live in Israel.
Musical Tastes: Listen to about 45% Rock; 45% Jazz, 10% Classical (including a little Middle Eastern Classical). Within that, my tastes tend mostly to the "classics" of each genre, but I do have some very odd/avant guard/progressive stuff - what most people call noise.
Favorite artists: The Beatles, The Who, Cream (saw the reunion in London), Stravinsky, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Charlie Parker, Keith Jarrett, Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner.
I own a turntable, but don't use it much anymore. My main interest is high quality digital reproduction. Have recently started acquiring/ripping hi-res files (24bit/mostly 96k).
Equipment I'm presently running:
Fanless music server (PC)>Squeezebox Touch >
slaved to an Empirical audio Pace Car as master>MF X-DAC3.
Present amplification is MF X-150.
Speakers: Devore Gibbon Super 8.
I've also got some experience with DSP Room Correction equipment.
Am thinking of trying out a KRK ERGO. Longer range project is to build a Class D Amp from a kit (probably about a year from now).
