SOLD Cambridge Audio 651p MC/MM phono pre amp..
I've owned this pre for about 6 years, and because of liking the phono stage on the Super Micro, the 651p only is used when the Denon 103 pops out for a run.*
I decided to sell the unit on the bay..it was sold, but 2 weeks later it came back. Seller states that the MM section is fine but the MC section is intermittent, (sound comes and goes) and only comes back to life when unit is switched off and on again.*
The sad thing about it is I've just sold the Denon 103...so can't test it. I've tested the MM side of it and It's solid...Now I can't tell if buyer used the unit as a tester, and didn't like the sound and sent it back...so it's for sale at half the going price cos I can't test the MC side of it...and no one around me has got an MC setup!
Condition is very good, with no marks...
SOLD delivered in UK only, how does that sound?
