Handy multi tool for my bikes from my youngest daughter and two boxes of Bendicks bitter mints (my favourite sweet) from my eldest and a lovely card and a hug from each.

Yeah, hope you had a good one, guys! We did, with my old man. Had a nice lunch (pics will be posted on the food thread in a mo), with a few drinkies:)

In terms of the weather, we delayed lunch until 4pm when the forecast said it would be warm and sunny, so we could eat outside, which thankfully it was! Granty, I've had that beer before and it's a nice one - hope you enjoyed it:cool:

Cheers - actually it did get better as the day went on. They bought their boyfriends around and we had a few drinks under the arbour and played a few games of "cards against humanity", very rude/politically incorrect/funny.

We went out for a walk yesterday which took us past the local pub. This has been doing takeaway food & beer but was closed yesterday with a sign outside that read "We are closed all day today. Go and spend time with your fathers" - made me smile!
