Good mid level R2R machine with long lasting Glass X'tal heads. Ideal first machine for someone wanting to get into the hobby.

Plays, record, monitor, FF and rewind all work. When I tried record it wobbled slightly at first but seemed to settle down. Didn't notice this on play though. Could do with new belts and a service given its age.

There's a slight crackle on the volume knob when turning, I'll give it a spray with servisol hopefully that will help.*

Meters, bulbs and headphone amp are also working fine. It also has the capstan sleeve to switch speed to high quality. Many don't.

I will also include 5 7" tapes of various rock to play or record with, they're not "audiophile" copies mind you.

Issues: missing the make/model decal on the front. I guess this could be repainted from a template or even a paper one printed and stuck on!* It's missing one of the 4 feet on the back (the ones used when it's placed flat), again easily replaced and not needed.

I've stuck it on eBay for more but I'm asking for £140 on here for a quick sale. They seem to go for £4-500 serviced and £2-300 in various working (or not) states so it must be worth that :)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200615/3e53bde7fd4dd139e24f69532a8784c0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200615/927ebd18a9f563fcd81ebeee378a9082.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200615/05d619533420100f247019aea8569f7c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200615/1ce49f284603fb760cc89c833cab6ca1.jpg
