I have here this nice Pioneer A-X440.

Not long been in stock, but it has had a full 24 hours use without any issue hooked up to 3x different sets of speakers (Technics SB-CS70s, Wharfedale Linton 3XP, Wharfedale Diamond 9), sounded great on all of them. All knobs and buttons work as they should but please note there is one button missing, Contempated buying one of the Pioneer Tuners from this era and replacing the button from a faulty tuner but have yet to buy a Tuner. The button missing is for CD Direct Record - not a button that would be used too often.

Tested all inputs, had Pioneer PD-S705 plugged in via CD input - which worked absolutely fine. Two different turntables worked through Phono input and sounded fine.

I've given the inside a careful cleanout as best I can as they do gather dust.

This amp sounded fine on all inputs and all speakers tested with, no adjustment to tones needed as it sounded great without adjusting anything!

Here is the information about this amp (Watts per Channel etc) rated at 55 into 8 OHMS.

Would make a great backup amp, or a second system amp!

There are a few bumps and scrapes mainly to the lid. Nothing major though.

I think £60 is fair plus £15 P&P.
Thanks
