A selection of Philips 600 series CD players that I have accumulated over the years. They are just gathering dust, and I'd rather have the space. All have been tested briefly this morning and were playing quite happily but they have been sat around for a while so you take your chances! All are CDM4 transports with various DACs and internal differences. I don't have the remotes but will include a Marantz one that operates most functions with either the CD634, or if you take the lot. All are for collection from just outside Bicester in Oxfordshire.

First up, the best of the range, the CD634. This has a two line alpha numeric display, variable output (with the correct remote) as well as normal fixed and other funky 90s features for edit / repeat etc. Top cover is a bit sorry for itself but fascia is good. Comes with a Marantz CD40 remote which operates most things apart from the variable output volume. This can be demo'd with an Arcam remote I have which is not included. £50 please

Second, a CD624. Similar but without the upgraded display and possibly different insides. Display is not as bright as the others here but still visible. Again, top cover is quite marked. £30

Third is a CD618. Good display. Less functions. Sounds decent. £30

Last is a CD610 II. Good display. Similar to the CD618 £30

Special multibuy bargain: Buy all four for £100

Happy to demo on collection. I can set them up in the garage so you don't need to come in the house, maintain social distancing etc.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know why pictures aren't displaying. I host them on my own site and embedded them like I have previously but they are not displaying. Any suggestions?

Worth mentioning that three are bitstream I think the 4th is probably multibit (presumably 16 bit but not sure it's a TDA1541A).

I had an early Phillips bitstream player for years and enjoyed it immensely. I think it was a CD632 but I'm not 100% sure. It didn't compete with £500+ players but it was really fun to listen to (and I dont mean fatiguing fun, just nicely sparkly).

That's correct. The CD 610 is TDA1543 based.

The CD610 as my first experience of cd as a teenager- part of my parent's system. Almost tempted...

I use a CD-610 as a transport, works very well.
