my name is michael, i'm from the midlands in ireland, and currently own marantz pm7003 and cd6005 for 2 channel listening with deftech studio monitor 65s.
For home theatre, I run monitor audio bronze 5 package with 4 cambridge audio aero 5 surrounds speakers as rears using marantz sr7008 receiver for amp and processing duties.
Also have the marantz mcr611 cd/network player with monitor audio radius 270 speakers for the bedroom.
I find Marantz give a warm rich rewarding sound, but always looking to see what else is on the horizon, secondhand to warrant an upgrade.
cds, usb digital files, and streaming services(mainly TIDAL), for music and utilise an LG V40 phone and my samsung TV to access MQA master tracks on my Tidal account. I find the LG phone gives me the most cost effective option to decode the full MQA signal path to enjoy that format, and am impressed so far with the results.
