So are these any good or is it just the look? If produced OEM in Japan they might not be as bad as I presume..

I collect vintage receivers and as a British made and - in a way - handsome looking unit I want one to fill a hole in my collection that mainly comprises high end Japanese stuff. They're absolutely nothing special performance wise and they switch on with a loud thump as there's no protection relay due to cost cutting, it's a basic 'cheap' receiver that was made to look flashy.

Thanks Lawrence. I have the larger Goodman's 150 in my collection. In the 70s I had a Goodmans module 90.

Lawrence, I did drop the guy an email as soon as I saw your post this morning re the Goodmans Module one ten. It's already gone. That's why I always ask for people to PM me with referrals. Not saying that someone off here has bought it - and BTW they're totally entitled to! - but could be the case.
