WTD Mordaunt Arundel

Having read good things about Decca Kelly ribbon drivers I am looking for a pair of Mordaunt Arundels in good working order and condition. I have seen a similar pair on eBay (described as Decca Kelly and with 10" drivers) but thought I would ask here first. Many thanks.

A friend of mine had a pair of these in the early 70's. They were not new then.

Those tweeters are wonderful, especially the London, but power limited and easy to blow.

The MS700 is also worth consideration.

I was watching the pair on eBay, they sold last week but were promptly relisted at a lower start price, then quickly relisted at a higher start price.

The reason I didn't bid was that I'm not sure about the plywood panel around the Decca SP bass driver. It makes me wonder if a different speaker with a larger cutout has been converted to take these drivers.

Lawrence, I think you are right about the drivers. I wondered why they had sold and then relisted so quickly....
