That is sad news. :(

What with this and SME's ridiculous decision to stop supplying arms a couple of years back, the choice of quality arms is slowly diminishing.

I wonder what will happen to tonearm offerings from companies who were selling Jelco-manufactured products. E.g. Ortofon. I guess their whole lineup is discontinued as of now and they will have to find another OEM.

Sad news, the skilled workforce getting too old and can't be replaced. Didn't I read that Technics had to bring back older/retired workers when bringing out their latest line of DD turntables?
