Hi 'tdog',

Welcome to AOS!

Before going any further, could you do me a favour please and pop into the Welcome area and introduce yourself to our members, giving your real first name, basic geographic location, system details and music tastes?

This is the required procedure for all new members joining our community - cheers!

Marco.

Hi Marco,

I'm Paul, in Melbourne AU. Sorry, I had no idea of the protocol - I stumbled onto the Caiman thread as that's what I was looking for...

I'm a composer of contemporary instrumental and electronic music - not popular stuff. My musical tastes vary widely. My music systems are various, with hi-fi systems and a professional studio, but consist basically of;
Frontends - 2 turntables, one Oracle Delphi and a custom job, both with Syrinx PU2 tonearms and Dynavector cartridges (17D and a Ruby), Denon CD player, MacMini server with the Caiman DAC, and another Mac with a MOTU Traveler DAC.

Various amplifiers, mostly custom built, Pass class A's, an Aksa 50W, ME50 etc.

Adam monitors, custom monitors with Raven mid/tweeters and Focal bass-mids, Quad 57s and some B&W 602s.

I use digital room correction software on the Macs, oh, and I do some ambisonic recording and production work too - al good fun.
Cheers,

Spectral Morn

Hi all,

My music is previewable (sorry, that's not really a word) on many many sites - try EMFmedia: http://www.emfmedia.org/items/em143.html
CDBaby: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/doornbusch
LastFM: http://www.last.fm/music/Paul+Doornbusch/Corrosion, and even itunes.

If you've never heard of Xenakis or Varese etc, you probably won't like it...

Some of the ambisonic recordings from work I did in India, if you have the playback setup, are available on ambisonia here:

and an electronic piece
