Personally i can't stand them, you can guarentee i will engineer my working pattern around the day to be at work..It's the Mine/Her family i have the problems with..Bollox like 'o i'll have to get you a card' (On the day cos they forgot) or some cheap arse crap they picked up from pound shop...I can't stand it, what point of it!. i would rather escape from them all & hibernate a day tbh.Pretty much the same at christmas but worse... :steam:

Before I moved in with the current Missus, I always used to spend Christmas at home, alone, with a huge pizza and loads of nice wine. Everyone used to feel sorry for me and invite me round there's for Chrissy dinner - they couldn't believe I actually wanted to be at home on my own. So I now how you feel me old mucker! Bah Humbug. ;)

I used to volunteer to work Christmas. Treble time and nothing to do seemed like a good proposition to me. :)

I have told everyone to bring me alcohol for my birthday. What doesnt get drunk on the day, will invariably get drunk sooner or later.
