I know Buster (Doug) well. Not seen him for a while though, not since I last bumped into him in Tesco at Bulls Bridge. I also hope he's OK.

I saw him late December - he did a much shortened set,didn't look or act his usual self, had a stand in perform 3 or 4 numbers mid set, hope it was just something mild

Sad news - yet another performer from my childhood has passed away. :(

Millie Small's success with 'My Boy Lollipop' put Jamaica on the map as regards popular music with ska, and later, reggae. She was given a hero's welcome when she returned home.

The first ska I remember hearing although I don't think I had a clue what kind of music it was at the time.
She was damn cute, too!
