Harbeth P3ESR new v 2 yr old 40th anniversary

I would appreciate some advice on whether I should buy a brand new pair of Harbeth P3ESR from a dealer v 2 year old P3ESR 40th anniversary with stands for£300 more.

I would rather wait for the new XD range but, the Anniversary model is better than the standard P3ESR, which is now discontinued.

BTW, if you can squeeze in a larger speaker, I have an unused pair of C7ES3 for the same price as the P3ESR.
