FS: Thorens TD124, MkII, Schopper refurbished

Hi all!

Selling my Thorens TD124 MkII.

I bought it refurbished by Schopper AG in Switzerland back in 2018 - motor and chassis fully refurbished, new hollow Schopper plinth, original Thorens BTD12S arm with new Schopper lowering mechanism (original rather odd mechanical mechanism included in case you fancy going back to the original!), original bearing, iron platter, and arm-board. Will throw in the Ortofon MC-3 cartridge I have been using with it - has a couple of hundred hours use on it, but is a good combination and works nicely!

Looking for £2700.

Appreciate that there are cheaper TD124s out there, but this comes with the comfort of knowing that one of the leading experts recently refurbished it! It owes me over £3000, not even including postage from Switzerland! Ideally looking for collection from East London, but I am sure we could sort delivery if required.

Lovely tt, joy to use.
Can be frustrating to get them quiet imo as i have to do it diy out here.

Thanks, Shahrin - yes, I have had a lot of enjoyment from this one, and given that I have no real DIY ability, having Schopper sort it properly was what I needed! But time for a change!
