Hi all
I've been reading the forum a while but not actively participated. My system is a simple one. Quad Artera Play CD/Preamp/DAC into a Quad 306 Power Amp playing into Wharfedale 210 Speakers in a 9'x12' room all hooked up with Black Rhodium Cables.
My reason for jumping into here is because I've just done the DADA Electronics upgrade to my 306 Amp with very positive results and although not in any way electronically minded I am quite handy wielding a soldering iron. That brings me to my main purpose of being here, apart from hearing all about others' hifi habits. I am hoping to glean a bit more knowledge about further mods for my 306 so i'll be finding the right area to post a question or two in.
Music wise, Jazz, Jazz Rock, Rock, Prog Rock, Blues. So the likes of Coltrane, Davis, Dolphy, Weather Report, RTF, Zappa, Allman Bros. Rush, Yes, King Crimson are very much my favourites.
