Hello all

Just a quick post to introduce myself.
I'm John and I have a fledgeling project about to launch called 'acousticimagery'.
Over the next few months I should be ready with a pre-amp, a phono stage and mono class D power amps as the first 3 products.
I've just finished a dedicated listening room after much blood, sweat and a not inconsiderable amount of tears! Have you ever tried to make and hang a 4 inch thick door?
The sound of the room is amazing or should I say the lack of sound getting in or out ! So now I can really hear subtle changes when finalising the designs.
So cheers all and I'll keep you posted.

Hi John - just enough of a tease to make us all go hmmmm... ;)

Welcome to AoS, I'm sure one of the mods will be along to offer to create you a trade account, and we'll all be interested to see what you have in store.

Enjoy the forum and good luck.

Hi

Answers to questions.........

Prices not finalised yet.

Waiting for production metalwork to arrive from machine shop so pix of the product as it will go on sale not available yet, but I will try to post some drawings soon to give you all a flavour.

My musical tastes are very varied from blues and jazz to hip hop, from country rock to prog rock, from classical to bluegrass and just about any music that takes my fancy. Pet hate is undynamic 'wall of sound' in any genre, when will some artists/producers/engineers realise that silence in music is just as important as sound and very quiet music is just as enjoyable as deafeningly loud. To pin me down to one or two fave artists who appreciate how to record music, I would say that Nitin Sawhney and Imogen Heap are top of the tree.

Cheers

Marco
