Advice needed re Linn motor

I am restoring a none functioning LP12 and need to obtain a new motor. I doubt whether Linn will supply me with one direct especially as their factory will be closed because of Covid19 retrictions? Their seems to be a myriad of them on ebay ranging fron £50 for what i imagine is a reclaimed one to £185 which i would have thought to be brand new. Can anyone please shed some light on this or point me in the right direction?

The motor system I looked at when considering how to upgrade my LP12 was the Origin Live motor (https://www.originlive.com/hi-fi/turntable-upgrades-modification/turntable-motor-power-supply/). A little above you budget perhaps, but it does include a power supply too. What particular tickles my fancy is the possibility of playing 78s via the LP12, as described here (https://www.originlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/DC-Motor-Kit-HiFi-World-Review.pdf).

Perhaps post on the LP12 Facebook group. Chap there called Colin Dent fettles LP12s and always has some good used parts going at fair prices. He seems quite correctly fussy. If you aren’t on FB message me and I guess I could pass on an email adress to him.

Believe it or not they use the same motor as Rega do, just with a different size pulley i know someone in blackburn that might have one steve let me know if you want me to make some enquiries

I know it’s best buying one for the Linn with pulley already fitted
