A friend posted this question elsewhere and it got me thinking, as it’s a toughie if being honest..

Hypothetically, if tonight you could go and see any band or artist, who you have not seen before, even if they are no longer around, who would you choose?

Queen (with Freddie) is a very good shout. Though i also missed out on the Beatles, who would also have been amazing. Nirvana as well, maybe? There will be many others no doubt.

Going to a Queen concert sounds as much fun as constipation. How about a Shostakovich symphony sometime in the WW2?

Saw Queen in January 1976, part of their 'Christmas Concerts' tour. Bohemian Rhapsody was still Number 1. Not a massive Queen fan, but that gig was fab, definitely in my top ten :)

The Amazing Darts, with Den Hegarty . At the time, a breath of fresh air, live.

Absolutely, I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers on their final tour in the US when he was very ill. He looked old and tired, and the band rushed through the songs. We knew something was wrong but we didn't know what.

But to see the original threesome - that would be special!

Can you guess where he is yet?

I would have to say Keane. I love their music, always have. It accompanied me in some lonely and difficult times - but I missed out on the whole period of time they were riding the charts in the sense that I never saw them live.

Love Is The End is a work of genius.

I would have liked to have seen Led Zeppelin at Earls Court in 1975, but I could not get tickets, that is the concert I regret missing the most.

I saw AC/DC at Wembley, did nothing for me.

I saw Zappa at Wembley Arena in London, sometime in the '80s. It was part of his "Titties and Beer" tour.

I saw them at Earl’s Court on the last night, probably the best rock concert I ever attended.[emoji846]

Beatles gigs would have been awful with all that screaming, Sex pistols even worse with all that spitting. Something nice, Barry Manilow at his peak, 'her name was lola, she was a showgirl'......Never been a fan of gigs except when I was very young and got on stage and started talking with the band, breaking down the fourth wall and all that.
