Topping D90

Hi All
I am seriously considering one of these Dacs
I've read some reviews online,but I thought I would ask members on here for their advice
I know they are new and wondered if any members had any experience with them
How do they compare with other dacs etc,such as Auralic Vega for example
Where is the best place to buy one?

I would say it has it in spades, though I would contend that it depends on your supporting kit.

Twin balanced mains for amps and sources
Rfc Reference Mercury interconnects and Audio Note silver from transport to dac
Townshend Isolda speaker cable
Two something solid equipment racks

I also need two sets of 2m interconnects,so if you have any idea about those,any advice would be greatly appreciated

Big gains in changing the speaker cable I am sure Alan can help you there :)
CEC tranny is fine nice and full bodied and TM amps are nice as well

international postage of items may be subject to customs processing and additional charges.. Ive had stuff and not had to pay but at that price now you may. Amazon one may be a better bet. Maybe Alan will know

That's the same price I paid and it did attract a customs change, though not that much.

Its just the MQA model costs 100 euro more. I was thinking is it worth that amount?

Read up about it, seams most Hi res streaming is going to be MQA or so it is claimed.

MQA is a waste of space and just a marketing 'tool'.

Actual bit depth is reduced due to the folding of the spectrum, I believe to about 17 bits, it might be less, so if you are looking for 24 bit audio forget it.

Just to let anyone who wants/ thinking of buying a D90, I received an email today puting delivery back to the 18 June. I ordered the non MQA model.
