WTD: Loudspeakers

I’m currently listening to and enjoying a pair of Celestion dl6 (series two), but would like a pair of dl10s with the lower frequency response. Does anybody know if 442s fit the bill?

I had some 44s for a while and they don't go that deep. As far as Celestions go I'd look for some A2 or A3. Both will do some serious deep bass.

Thanks for the suggestion Macca, 40/45hz is what I’m looking for in the lower frequency as opposed to the 60hz of the dl6

Agree with Martin, the A2s are one of my favourite speakers in the £3-400 range. The A3s were too big for my room.

The 442 is quoted as -3db at 45Hz so might be enough for you as room gain will increase that a bit. Assuming the room is not vast.

Okay thanks, the current restrictions on movement mean I can bide my time atm. So I’ll be happy for some to turn up after lockdown is lifted
