After trying to make a good-looking armboard with a jigsaw (that's all I have available at the moment), I'm ready to give up and seek professional help

I need a couple of armboards fabricated according to the following sketch (hope it's legible). Desired thickness = 12-15mm. I can drill the tonearm hole myself.

Who can help me out? :)

Cant you just get one of those Acrylic seller off EBay to cut.. You can get Acrylic in Matt black as well as the usual glossy stuff. Be a lot cheaper, not cost much more to have the edges diamond polished.

I once had a 'LP12' style Armboard cut & polished by one of those sellers, Looked good.. Here it is, i just put the deck in an old 'LP12' plinth that some idiot had stained in varnish till i got the one i was making finished.

That's a great idea, Andre, I thought about it but decided to go with a different material this time. I have a cast acrylic armboard on my SL-110 though.

One of the very few Techy decks i like.. I bought one of those for £90 once, had the original wooden boards tho. I found the feet an issue so had someone make me some special ones.. Looks nice that. The Black boards really suit it

Corian is mega expensive. But dead easy to machine up. You can edge it with a standard router bit. There is a massive range of colours to choose from & its pretty much seamless if you want to join it. if you scratch it you can rub out the mark & never know..There was some far east manufacturers that were making speaker & amplifier enclosure out of it years ago.

Well the black board certainly look better than the Old age pensioner wood veneer finish of the original boards [Sapele], I use to love wood finished but hate them now, Plain black is the preference.
