Any of you DJs recommend any of the above.
My knowledge is limited to that good tune ( something about a rabbit hutch or something)
Saw them all in FOPP tonight and was umming and ahhing.
Hoping AOS resident Psychedelia expert Chris will put me straight.

I don't know about these specific reissues Colin, but I know the music.
Of the original releases rather than compilations, the first four or five are all great in their own ways.

Surrealistic Pillow would be the one if you're limiting yourself to a single album.
After that, I'd be looking at After Bathing at Baxters, Volunteers, Bless it's Little Pointed Head (maybe one of the best live albums ever) and Crown of Creation. The first album (Takes Off) is interesting in the light of what came after - they really changed gear when Grace Slick turned up with her & her brothers songs - similar in a way to the Big Brother / Janis Joplin thing (most Joplin fans have never heard the first Big Brother album)

I have a bit of an irrational soft spot for Dragon Fly which was the album they made as Jefferson Starship and was the one that saw Marty Balin returning.

That was my first one too! Probably my favourite, I'd guess.
