View Full Version : Howdy
Hi all,
Names obviously Allan, and I'm in my 60's and I'm an audioholic.
Like most on here I'm locked down atm so listening to a lot more stuff and its dawning on me that most of my gear is garbage, apart from my TD 160B, I'm running a new cheap class D through Kef 35s and all digital is from a computer although I'm looking into a Pi for a media sever, I did build a gainclone 10 years back which was excellent but it expired having been left on for 7 years, must build another soon, music is mostly prog rock but I can listen to anything as long as its not to cluttered, hopefully I can pick some brains and get my stuff listenable.
Be safe

Hello Allan, all good men love PROG ROCK.
" hopefully I can pick some brains and get my stuff listenable" if you ask you will get a myriad of suggestions form the sensible and realistic depending on you price range to the downright wacky, but there are lots on here that can advise and plenty of good used stuff.
Welcome to AoS

Hi Allen. Welcome to AOS.
I'm sure members will have opinions on your intended upgrades, just ask.
Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.
Terminator oh ek :eyebrows:,
Thanks for all the welcomes My main problem is that I have no idea where to start, I have younger m8s who have nice systems that work for their ears but not mine, mind that could be the music they listen to, If I turned up with some early 70s samples I wouldn't get in the door, lol
Hi Allan.
Welcome to AOS! Always loads of interesting things going on here.
