As per title, I need a cheap dac to take with me on holiday. I've already looked on ebay but thought I would ask here as well.

Well I've just purchased a Topping D30 from Amazon reduced to £80, so you can all relax now.

LOL. Good choice, it's a great budget DAC. Not sure I would want something that big on holiday though!

More of a 2nd home Jules, so it will be left there when I return to the uk. At the mo just waiting for travel restrictions to be lifted, who knows how that long will take.

Thanks for the two offers Robin and Colin, but as you will see in an above post I have purchased a Topping D30. It arrived yesterday and have had it 'running in' overnight. Initial impressions, it will be ok for the cheap system I have put together. Would have really liked to hear the Denon though.

Apologies not spotted that, the Denon is a great wee Dac, hope the Topping works for you
