I feel like a hampster on a treadmill , going round and round and going nowhere :D
Will find a TV program to view while exercising :D
Started doing the Joe Wicks workout on his you tube channel. I cycle quite a lot already but this is different type of exercise of course. Very good though.
Keep going Ai KEEP going.

Mate it's starting to piss me off on facebook the amount of people now going out daily for a bike ride, an ex colleague of mine cycled through Sheffield train station and ok there was hardly anyone about but that's not the point, daily exercise can take many forms, like you've said washing your car or gardening, my understanding of the rules are, don't go out unless absolutely necessary and going out for a bike ride every day to me at the moment seems a bit excessive, the weather hasn't helped but still, the amount of people that all of a sudden have to go out for their "daily exercise" is a joke, you're not going to die from a couple of weeks sat on yer arse, but while out on your bike anything could happen, it's just not worth the risk in my opinion, restricting your movement is the only way to get this lockdown lifted in the shortest time period.

100% Andre and a lockdown like Spain and Italy is on its way, do people not realise the longer this continues the less likely we will all have jobs at the end of it, the government is bolstering the economy but that can't last forever.

Just seen the coppers pull up a car across the road, I can just make out four bodies in the car. That will deffo be a fine, £60/30 is shit it wants to be higher.
Depends what they were doing. You are allowed to go out, you know!
I was out in my car earlier too, filling up with diesel and doing some food shopping, so if plod had tried to fine me for that, I'd have (rightly) told him to fuck off;)

Yup, I'm getting my exercise by working my bollox off in the garden. 5 hours at it yesterday, 3 today! And once I run out of things to do, I can jog round it- it's big enough!:D
Marco.
P.S I don't use Facebook (or other common forms of social media) - way too full of tossers.

Yup, but the point I'm making is that you don't know WHY they were out together in the car. Find that out FIRST, then judge;)
I was joking, of course, about the 'fuck off' bit. However, as a lone driver simply out to conduct two currently permitted activities: food shopping and fuel purchasing, I'd have had every right to defend my right to have been there!

I know you're trying to be amusing, but it is quite easy to give fellow walkers a sufficiently wide berth when out. There is nothing 'prattish' about using a face mask, if you want to wear one.

Maybe it's because us northerners are just friendly by nature, but this social distancing in my experience has just made those around me more friendly and courteous. A smile for a stranger makes me feel a bit better, especially as it is always returned. Might even become a habit by the time we get back to normal :)

I was thinking of carrying a walking stick to enhance my social distancing abilities, if they get too close, a quick jab in the belly and a bang on the nut should do the trick!

Welcome back Bev! You've returned just in time to 'come on board' with my new venture, which I'm hoping will become a franchise.
As you know, the social distancing measures are playing havoc with women's hair do's - but who cares about that? Well ok maybe the women, but there is also the steady march of the "basement bouffant" that needs tending, and lots of women lack the confidence to tackle it themselves. This where I come in :)
I want to set up an online tutorial for prospective stylists, and you can be the first client, we just set up a video link, and I talk you through it. As you will be the first, your tutorial will be free of charge, all I ask for is screening rights for the footage, which I then sell to other prospective lady-gardeners. Just contact me via email, my address is:
mingefringe69@hotmail.com
I can't tell you how excited I am about this new venture! Hope to speak soon. :)
