There are so many Natural Yogurt on the market, themajority are utter crap, Im talking Natural Yogurt not that fat free muck.
This is easily the best Natural Yogurt i have ever had.. Be careful because the Fat Free version is in a very similar Pot you can easily get mixed up..
The price is very low too. You can even put a bit on your Strawberries and it will taste every bit as nice as cream.

I’ll give it a try. I’m a fan of Yeo Valley Greek style yogurt. I also use it as a starter culture for making my own yogurt.

Make sure its not the low fat one you pick up tho..
Yeh i use it as the basis of making my own yoghurt. I make up overnight oats jobbies with it.
Yes, I believe we need a sensible amount of fat in our diet....it’s full fat for me. I always check for added sugar, which I avoid.

Yes it's very nice, but bear in mind that Greek yogurt, by its very nature (how it's produced) is richer and thicker than other full-fat natural yogurts. Therefore, if you want the *really* creamy stuff, such as you describe, it needs to be the Greek one:)
Onken is also good: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/268805104

Marco.Just out of interest what's the difference between normal natural yoghurt and low fat Greek yoghurt?

The Aldi one is very thick believe me. Greek yogurt is worked on more hence its thicker. Low fat is a Marketing joke imho. Taste like shite to boot

It’s just made with low fat milk. The non-boutique ones don’t have added sugar...trendy ones do. Yogurt becomes Greek style by straining it thereby removing a lot of the acidic whey.
Hi Lawrence,
Traditionally, Greek yogurt is 'set-style', and made by straining the yogurt to remove the whey (the liquid remaining after the milk is curdled), and the end result is a creamier, more-solid yogurt with less sugar, fewer carbohydrates, and more protein compared to regular natural yogurt.
I'm presuming it's essentially also the same process with the low-fat variety:)

That is the only slight downside with the One im on about, a Bit of water forms on the top over night.
I am starting to think you would be better off on a cooking forum. :eyebrows:

I am starting to think you would be better off on a cooking forum. :eyebrows:To be fair you can enjoy Greek yoghurt without doing any cooking. Just spoon over some frozen Summer fruits and leave for 30 mins.
If that's too much for anyone then I can't see how they could survive unless they live in a hotel [emoji38]
The Aldi greek yogurt with their own flavours, ie. Honey, strawberry, etc are lovely too. Very good value as well, but stocks, as always with Aldi, Lidl are some times erratic. Hmmm, I just fancy a salted caramel flavour.
Your point is?
You are on a HiFi forum, posting about cooking type subjects.
You don’t like either.

Yes some fat in our diet is important, for nerve health among other things. Important for Andre, as so many things get on his nerves! :ner: Sugar is more the thing to avoid I think.

Marco.
For some reason this reminds me of a story by Jim Jefferies:
One afternoon me and my brother (who is a bit mental) were at home watching TV while mum was out shopping. My brother said, Jeff, get me a coke from the fridge". I said "No, I'm not your slave, get your own coke you lazy bastard". "Get me a coke now, or I'm gonna piss on the carpet". "I don't care, piss on the carpet, I'm not getting you a f****n' coke!"
So he pissed on the carpet.
Mum came back home saw the puddle on the carpet and demanded "Who did this?" "It was him" I said, "Because I wouldn't go get him a coke". She slapped ME round the head, and I shouted "What's that for?" "Why didn't you get him a coke, you know he's f****ng mental!"
