Due to the need for funds to upgrade my main vinyl setup regretfully I’ve decided to sell on my second string turntable. This has only ever been used in the bedroom and in the time I’ve owned it it’s usage has been extremely light
I’ve had the ATLP5 for about 15 months and as can be seen from the photos it is still in mint, unmarked condition.
It isn’t what you’d refer to as completely stock, one of the photos shows that I’ve added damping material to the underside of the platter which has reduced the platters tendency to ring by 90%+, as it’s been added peripherally it’s also made a very slight improvement to the already extremely good speed stability and low W&F.
The other major upgrade was changing the standard fit cartridge to the excellent Goldring E3 which brought about a noticeable improvement in sound quality. For my own convenience I also fitted a Q-Up automatic end of side arm lifter.
The E3 was fitted about 8-9 months ago but since then I would estimate that it has only been used for about 45-50 hours, so it’s barely broken in. The ATLP5 has a built in MM preamp which performs extremely well, it can also be bypassed if you want to use an external phono stage, although I’ve never used it, it also has a usb output if you want to digitise you’re records.
I’m looking £240+ carriage which will probably be about £17-£20 due to size and weight, alternatively buyer can collect, I’m in South Yorkshire.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200320/e794ed71eb7a55a82a920b78a519a6d9.jpg
