Looks like Chord re-branded it, included some 'science' spiel, and added a couple of noughts... :lol:

Apparently these fluids only work well if both contact metals are identical in chemical composition. ie pure silver and pure silver.

If there is a mismatch then chemical reactions can occur. I have read of black gunge at the interface after a period of time.

This applies equally to a mismatch in the quality of (say gold) plating.
