I am pretty sure yours is a mk 1 platter, and the one you link to is a mk2 Strata platter.
Yes, it is a mk1. The Mk2 does not have the lip on the bottom.
It is still a great platter, and a worthwhile upgrade to any standard SL1200.
Yes, it is the mk1. On the link posted there are no references to the mk1 or mk2 version.
Sorry for the wrong indication, for this matter I think it is correct to apply a 50 UK£ discount on price that will be 450 UK£.
Up and requested price reduced to 420 UK£ :-)
What the funk is that thing sat on the 7 inch adapter in the first photo? :)

It is my interpretation of --> https://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/stat_trap_e.html
Please can you tell me what the arm is, and also how it will compare with a standard Valhalla LP12 + RB300?

It's an Audiomods tonearm. I think it's a very good one, in all likelihood better than the RB300 due to the new bearing and the possibility to adjust the VTA (mine hasn't the micrometer option because it does not fit on the ebony tonearm board). Btw I have a new turntable so in the next days I will sell the tonearm.
I really don't know how it will compare with an LP12, just think that Technics should be plyg and play while the Linn is a wonderful turntable but needs frequent adjustments and it's not for me :-)
So you are not including the arm?
So you are not including the arm?
The ad is only for the Funk Firm platter.
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding but I thought it was obvious.
A platter does not usually include an arm. It is the round bit you place the record on.
It's only the platter that's for sale [emoji6]
Just in case anyone thinks it's the TT as well

Just in case you change your mind and do decide to include the turntable and arm in the £420 price, I’ll take it ;)

I evaluate proposals
is this still available?
Not being much of a vinyl user, I hadn't realised that "platter" literally meant only that, and thought it meant in a loose usage sense, the whole deck.
is this still available?
It is listed on here and on the Wam, so I would think so.
Best way to find out is to send a PM.

I actually did send him a PM and got no response so I figured id try here as well. Whats Wam?
I have sent him a message on the Wam to tell him to check AoS.
Received and replied, thank you again Kevin!
