Just joined up. For many years was a installer of large sound systems in clubs etc.. For the last five years I’ve been listening to all kinds of genres through a 90’s Sony system and Mission M71 speakers. Have finally got round to building a better budget system and managed to pick up a pair of B&W 601S3’s and Atacama stands for £130. Picking up a Rotel RB-970BX later for £75, so then hoping to find the matching pre amp. I may ask some silly questions about streaming as I haven’t got a clue about it :D

Not sure wether I’m normal or not but thanks guys :) Just wired the Rotel in and it’s added way deeper bass ! Just plugged my iPad mini straight in and playing Birdy “Beautiful Lies” album as it's a Tidal Masters one. Sounds perfect to my uneducated ears :D
